SilverMustangs.com was born in 2006 and is the project of Donnie Salter.
The site is based out of Pace, FL which is next door to Pensacola, FL.
SilverMustangs.com began as a very simple website with a very basic forum just
to get things going and grab a small member base. Several months after
the birth of the site, it was time to grow and move on from such simple things.
Donnie began scratching his head and building ideas on what he envisioned
his site to look like. The project slowly came together and in 2007 a
shiny new web platform was unveiled as well as a more user friendly forum. By mid 2007, once again it was time for something new to try and keep the attraction of current members and gain the attraction of members-to-be. Donnie went back to the drawing board to try and throw together some fresh new ideas. SilverMustangs.com had now become The Silver Mustang Registry which features a database of members cars from nearly every state and spans to Germany, The Netherlands, Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. In a mere 2 years, the SMR has reached out from a small town in Florida and got a hold of members from all over the world. With the help of Andy Wingate, the forums flourish on a daily basis with a constant assault of new members each month. Andy also hosts SilverMustangs.com and provides tech support for all the members. In 2008 SilverMustangs.com graced the pages of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords not once, but twice. During the month of May, SMR held its first cruise with gained national attention thanks to our primary sponsors Dallas Mustang, American Muscle, and Auto Badges. With the wonderful growth the site has experience and new look it has taken, SilverMustangs.com was featured in the July 2008 issue for Cyber Stallions that is written by Jeff Bauer. We have come a long way and have a bright outlook on the future of the site. Things can only continue to get better from here out.
