I stated that it was NOT a v6 vs GT rant...what I did say is that I'm rather upset that people refuse to be open minded. Rather long winded, And I'm sorry for that, and I did not mean to hijack the thread.

how in the hell did this thread about .bashing on stupid jackasses tradin intheir cars for obama's bullshit programs, to a pissing match about the v6'er against the gt..AGAIN.. damnit i'm tired of hearing it....if u have a 6'er like me, and want to upgrade it to or past gt status,, then thats your choice...and if ur happy with the stock 6 then thats ok too.. if u ponied (pun intended) up the cash for a gt,, then congrats to you and your wallet....
i hate to say this but i'm tired of some sixer owners in here feeling inadequate against v8 owners.. GET OVER IT ALREADY....

nuff said im gonna shut up now..

yes i've got a 6 and im upgrading it.. and im damn happy with my car..

Yeah. I thought this was a Mustang site.

That's why there is a lounge Dale for general discussion about anything. I wasn't looking to turn this into anything other than an entertaining thread showing rare cars that were getting trashed. My hilite just happened to be one of the coolest vehicles I know and is in fact a v6.....where it went from there is anybodies guess. Just trying to enlighten and keep things interesting that's all. :)

A grand national...not a gnx...could wipe the streets with the fastest american production car at that time which was a chevy corvette. But you have to remember that piece of poop as you call it had a turbo V6.

They've been running these motors in six second cars for a while. Check out Ken Dutweiller on youtube. Very impressive. Oh yeah, I have two older Buick Skylarks and I would trade both of them for one of these.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Len- ... 202858.htm

I saw ken duttweiler and len freeman run side by side 200+ pass one was 206 and the other was 204.

I don't think the 401 nailhead was available in 1969. I think the 350, 400, and 430 was available, but I could be wrong.

Nope not for sale. Got a buddy that is a mechanic at a Chevy dealership in McKinny. They would not let them touch the cars. He wanted an ABSS sensor off one of the truck, and they told him no.

what...its trash...technically they should not care...the only reason why they should is because of the 15,000 dollar fine...but that only if they report it...no report no car no existance...done.
